Att arbeta i förskolan – en basföreläsning för hela arbetslaget | 28 april 2026 NY!

The preschool's mission is complex and encompasses many different elements, all of which are important, interrelated, and influence each other. This has consequences for our constantly changing practice and affects each and every one of us in the work team. Our shared interpretations and understanding of the mission in practice are crucial to children's rights and future. That is why we need a common direction and knowledge base to stand on.

This lecture focuses on the mission of preschool and clarifies our shared responsibility according to the curriculum. It is aimed at everyone who works in preschool, regardless of educational background or experience. The mission applies to all of us.

Based on the relational mission and inspired by Reggio Emilia's educational philosophy, we combine theory with concrete examples – cases from practice that we reflect on together. The aim is to stimulate discussion and thoughts about how the different parts of the mission are connected, and how we can organize education so that all children are given the opportunity to contribute, participate, and influence their day.

The lecture is perfect as a start-up or initiative to create conditions for a common foundation for the entire preschool or as a start-up for team development. Valuable for all roles – regardless of education and experience – to create consensus and a common foundation.

The lecture covers areas such as:

● A clear review of the curriculum and the mission of the Education Act

● A stronger focus on the relational and democratic mission

● Perspectives on roles, responsibilities, and collaboration within the work team

● Concrete cases and tools for developing a conscious approach

● Reflection questions to work on in everyday life

● Increased professional pride and understanding of the importance of the mission

The lecture can be used as a starting point for further study and is also offered as commissioned training/service, with guidance and further practical support.

Here's what previous participants have to say:

I carry everything I learned with me. I have learned a lot about my responsibilities as a childcare worker, how to handle conflicts with colleagues and between children, and how I can work to develop language skills.

Being an attentive teacher and daring to discuss colleagues' thoughts has contributed to a deeper understanding of my role.

I have received support to develop and new ideas on how I can think further.

I have gained insight into what I do and a broader perspective on the mission – new ideas about our important work.
